1998 owner in Central Texas . on: June 24, 2019, 02:12:18 PM
Greetings from a long time owner of a 1998 Magna . I bought the bike new and have loved it ever since . It has been trouble free until recently and is in need of carb rebuild and possible resetting . And it needs the valves reset . It has been done twice before but never properly I think . Anyway just got off the phone with woods honda after being told arrogantly that they would never work on something so old . I find myself not knowing where to turn . Any advice on a certified mechanic shop in the Centex area that can help a magna lover. Thanks for any help.

You are in the Austin area? I may be able to dig up a guy in the area I think works on most any bike but I need to know the area first before I start searching.

Just in case you are still in need of a Mechanic for your Magna. I can't say enough about Chris Porter at Flying Wrenches Mobile Powersports. I have a 97 Magna that had been sitting in the garage for about 3 years, and hadn't been cranked in all that time. I knew I would have to get it running if I hoped to sell it. Chris came to my home, picked up the Magna, and performed what can best be described as a ressurrection of my 97 Magna. It runs as good as it ever did including the day I rode it home from the dealership. Chris does get busy from time to time as all the good mechanics do. Needless to say the Magna is NOT for sale, and runs like a rocket!! Website is http://flyingwrenchesmobile.com
