I can't believe someone hasn't grabbed this up yet. If i had some other projects finished it would be mine. I've seen it and the pictures don't do it justice. And i can attest to how well Jeff takes care of his bikes.

Best of luck, i will post this a few other places.

If I would have seen this yesterday, I would have probably bought it.  As it turns out, I found an 85 GS1150E Suzuki for the exact same price and bought it instead!  Rotten timing!  Maybe if it's around in a couple weeks, I can still pick it up from you!!!  That's a great price though, shouldn't be around long though!

You're killing me Jeff.  Why is it when deals like this come along there's no way in hell I can get them?  Would you consider trading for a slightly used (105K miles  Very Happy ) '96 Magna?...lol...j/k....sorta  Shocked

Or super clean anyway.  Looks pristine, but one ugly bike IMO.   Smile

aaahhh. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. Idea

Back in the mid-eighties all the metric manufacturers had a model that looked like these bikes.

I never really could get used to the way the old Honda Sabres looked either, but most folks only see the tail light on them; fast offsets pretty, so it evens out. Razz

Why do the carbs need rebuilt "again"?  There are chips and what looks to be dents on the tank, and yet it says recently repainted and no decals applied?  What happened there?   Just trying to get some more information, might still be interested.......

Actually just the slow speed jets are clogged again, the usual tapping on the carbs did not work the last time I tried to start it.

Charles repainted the bike for me, and did an excellent job. My V65 fell on it and dented the tank, which Charles fixed and repainted, so to match the paint I had Charles paint the rest of the bike. The bike does have new paint on it but my V65 Magna leaned over against it and did the damage .... again. I have lost interest in a frame off restoration so it needs to go. Previous owner was Gil Epperson if you want to contact him

Is that the same Gil Epperson that lived on a ranch in Leonard, TX?  Where they had the V-4 cookout every year until recently?
