I have a 95 Magna with the two tone black/green paint scheme, 6000 miles, bullet fairing, Progressive rear shocks, saddlebags with EZ brackets that are less than 1 year old, rear luggage rack, passenger backrest, highway pegs, throttle lock.
The tires are in good shape, the paint is in excellent shape.
The asking price is $3,950.00 dollars.
BTW, I am located in Illinois.
Updated to include a picture.

1st welcome to the site from Floriduh... I'm sorry to hear you are letting your Magna go.. It sounds like it is pretty decked out.. You didn't mention what brand saddle bags etc, but it probably doesn't matter.. I'm not expert at cost, but I'd start at $4600 or so and work from there.. Others will chime in.. Any chance we could get a picture or two?? If you just can't sell her, let me know and I'll fly up to get her and bring her to Florida to retire.. (It might have to wait until springtime though..) I know you want her to go to a nice home

Might want to check Craig's list in your area. Just checked the southeast and found 6-8 mid 90's Magnas and they were asking $2800-3200. Saw a 2003 for $3900.

I've decided to sell the aux. fuel tank setup separate from the bike. If anyone is interested send me a PM and I'll provide the details.

Guy on another board I'm on is trying to sell a '97 Magna, pretty similar upgrades to yours for $4K. Been trying to sell it for about 6+ months now. He's in Mass. His bike's mint, but it's been hard getting traffic through to see it. I'd say shoot for $4K if you have time, drop it down maybe to $3500 if you need to move it quick.

Hang on untill riding season in your area or advertise it farther south.. Right now bikes are all down in price because of the winter months.

I disagree. Most people sell it for kbb excellent retail even in Wintertime. Prices don't fluctuate like the stereotype. Every once in the awhile you'll find motivated sellers who will drop it lower. Maybe in Winter its more common but most still try for excellent KBB value. The thing that pisses me off the most is people always put their car/truck/bike up for "excellent retail"....when that costs assumes dealer costs and markups (that they have to do)...people never use private party value or 1/2 (kbb excellent + trade in value)

to say buyers are not more motivated in the spring/summer is unrealistic. the people desperate to sell in winter do drop their price, if they MUST sell. If I needed to sell a bike I would wait till spring/summer. If I HAD to sell one in the winter I would still ask for KBB type price but would be willing to deal. In the spring/summer it is a seller's market. IMO

KBB has the retail for the bike at $2,820.00 which seems kinda' low to me. I'm in no rush to sell the bike. I feel the extras bring the asking price up to the $3,950.000 I'm looking for. I did sell the aux. tank separately as there are only a select few who would want something like that on the bike.

Around here NADA is used more often, KBB is rarely mentioned. The truth is banks use them for loans and trade-in value and mostly on newer vehicles. Does not matter what KBB or NADA says, they are worth what they will sell for, and what they sell for varies from area to area and availability. There are just to many variables to say a third Gen Magna is worth X amount of dollars. If I were you I would decide what you want for it and adjust that by how bad you want or need to sell it.
