Are heated Gloves too much for the system?

I'm looking at getting some heated gloves for the cooler months and trips up into the mountians here in AZ.  Would the gloves (with a 2.3 amp draw ) overload the system and auctually drain the battery while running, rather then charge it?  I'm not sure how much room there is in the 3rd gen magnas eletrical system for add-ons.  My eletrical system is currently all stock.

I have ran 2 - 35W halogen bulbs on my Super and the 95 Magna with no problems whatsoever, so I think you would be fine.
Hopefully someone with more electrical knowledge than me will speak up LoL.

I have a cable that is connected to the battery of my '99 Magna. I have used the complete suit, jacket liner, gloves, pants liner and socks; as well as my self amplified speakers. I used them on my long trip to Houston from Frisco (North of Dallas), TX. This was about a 4 hour trip. I never sensed any problems with power or electrical problems. The bike always started after stopping for gas. I was always sure to disconnect when stopped because the power was a direct connect to the battery.
I say go for it. I do not have any technical answers to the question, just practical experience.
Hope it works as good for you as it did for me.

I ordered the gloves.  If you can go with the whole suit, then the gloves are safe for sure.  Plus, a max draw of 2.3 amps is not very much.  I'm sure Honda was smart enough to give some play in the electical system for a few add-on's.

I have the Gerbing set up. What gloves are you buying?

I'm getting gloves from WarmGear (cozywinters.com), the classic style.  They were about $10 less than Gerbing's classic gloves.
