Me & My v45

My wifes father got me turned on to the v4's with his Max.
I just got an 83 v45 & I love it!  
Unfortunately I love it so much that I think I need to get rid of it at the end of the season...  Its a great bike, & ive got it purring, but if I was to hang onto it then itll need shocks, braided lines, etc, etc.  The finish on a lot of the parts isnt too good, so if im going to spend the money updating the bike then I think I am going to get a Super...  
At any rate I hope to learn lots here!

Welcome to the club, once you ride a V4 nothing comes close, cept one of those big ol Valks.   From what I've seen here, these puppies are like lays potato chips,  You just can't have only one...

Thanks gang!  Im gonna learn as much as I can about this one, then work on getting either a super, v65 or a 3rd gen over the winter.
Roboto65, what do you do exactly?  I live up in Red Deer, Alberta, but I work down in the Gulf for Cal-Dive.  Im in & out of Galveston quite a bit, I even made the LoneStar rally last year!

Sure ill keep you posted.  The ship I work on is alongside in Mobile, AL right now.  By the time I get back down she should be back to work.  We have been repairing platforms ever since Katrina...
