Did you get a key made at the dealer?

Yea. I got it at Honda town in Fort Worth. They had a bunch already made up, which means there isn't a lot of difference between keys.
If you have 1 original it has a number on it. You can call and see if they have one of those in stock.

I'll look at the cost of the parts. shouldnt be much.
I'll make a little module that people can epoxy in the cap even after they make the key. As long as they leave the outer ring empty of epoxy.
(my better photos will clarify this)

This is a different view.
As you can see we have a little room to put some LEDs and a small batery in there.

I will look when I get home but could you use the cap on the oil filler cap to chrome it up.

I got the idea from something I just saw on Ebay

I think it would stick out too far, that seems to be one of the great things about the chrome grip end cap, it is recessed inside.

Grab yourselves some caps.
I'll round up the electronic parts the battery will be the trickiest part.but I have some ideas.

That's what I ordered. I actually ordered two, the one on my bike now is scraped up a bit. We could use it for testing?? Should have mine next week I hope.
