Strange Turn Signal Behavior

Just bought and 85 V65 magna a few weeks back.  Turn signals are not working right.  It looks like the previous owner has installed some turn signal buzzers.  They are little aluminum colored gadgets with the words "Buss Flasher 12v No 552".  The wiring for them is barried in the electrical tape closing up the stock wiring assembly.  I think this custom wiring is preventing the radiator fan from coming on.  Here are the obvious symptoms of the signals.

Turn left on
- Left Rear blinks normally
- Left Front Nothing
- Right Rear Nothing
- Right Front continuous light on
- LED display blinks

Push to cancel after turn left on = no effect all lights continue their thing

Turn Right on
All lights = off
LED Display = off

Push to cancel after turn right on = all lights already off stay off.

What do you think is the best plan of action, get in there and check everything or could I purchase and install new wire assembly from the turn signal switch on the handel bars to the signals?

Something is certianly not right, I would investigate under the tape and make a plan of action from there.

I think I would untape the add-on stuff and check all their connections. But, before you do anything, have you checked all the bulbs and sockets and grounds? If no luck with that I'd remove all the extra wiring and put it back original, find some instructions and start over, assuming you still want the Buzz flashers on it.
