IIRC similar items work most of the time and quite often the clear coat is removed since you have to glue part of it to the body. I'll check with the boss and see what she says and get back to ya.

My brother has one that uses a suction.  Works pretty well for decent size dents.  Can't get to the smaller ones though.

I have used one on my car and truck they work fairly well and they didn't hurt the paint didn't get the small dents completely out but they did get some of it out.

Hey Curtis, I think that it will work on flat or slightly curved areas, but I wouldn't count on it working on the curves of a motorcycle tank. We tried it on my Magna tank without much luck. That doesn't mean it won't work for you.

I've played with one of these, and it's not bad.  It works better on warm metal.

We had a truck that needed a small dent worked on(PDR-paintless dent repair) useing a similar setup and they pulled the clear coat off where the adhesive was stuck to it. I can't say whether or not this companies product works better or worse. I would guess that it depends on how good the primer, paint, & clear coat was applied. As some of you know my wifes job deals with such issues on a frequent basis and I'm just repeating what I've heard. At this point I'll bow out and let the painters of the group do better judgement and explaining.
