Really?  Wow.  It's generally considered that Jimmie is the female spelling but I guess it's not uncommon for guys to use it.  However, I don't  ;)

Jimmy (with a masculine Y)-
Certainly not a problem . . . we all get busy, and I don't expect my bike to be at the top of your list or priorities.  At this point, I am not even sure I'm going to do anything about the carbs.  As someone suggested "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."  Maybe it would run a little faster, but I really don't push it much anyways.  And since I am getting anywhere between 35-45 mpg, I feel like it must be running pretty efficient.  45 might not seem like much, but 163 miles on $9 worth of gas is not so bad.

I will tell you that Sweetwater has one of the best restaurants in Texas (Mrs. Allen's).  Its a little hole in the wall place that serves you family style . . . that is, you sit at a table that seats about 10 folks and the waitress brings out homemade chicken and about 12 sides.  You get what you want and pass the dish.  If (rather when) you get an empty bowl, they take it a bring it back full.  Interesting deal is, you sit with whoever came in when you did.  Nothing like asking a stranger to pass the potators.

So if you are in the area, swing on by.  I'll show you the bike and then let you have a taste of some good ol' fashioned cooking.  I've been meaning to post some pics here, but have done so yet.  Again, thanks to all you guys who have lended support and encouragement.  I am a Magna owner thanks to the MOOT.

No offense to the postal staff Jerry, they do a great job but here is the meaning.

Going postal is an American English slang term, used as a verb meaning to suddenly become extremely and uncontrollably angry, possibly to the point of violence.

Supposedly going Postal refers back to and I do not remember the date but a Postal worker went on a  killing spree because of the hours and working conditions well and I guess his mental stability.  After that it became commonplace. All due respect to Jerry postal workers do a great job of moving MILLIONS of pieces of mail a year might be BILLIONS!!!

Alan- the'postal' reference may have happened ~1978 in Edmond,Ok, at the Post Office.  A postal worker 'went-off' and killed at least 5 fellow employees at the Post Office.  I happened to be on a vacation trip to SE Utah and found out when I got back.

You guys have it right.

The term derives from a series of incidents from 1986 onward in which United States Postal Service (USPS) workers shot and killed managers, fellow workers, and members of the police or general public. Between 1986 and 1997, more than 40 people were killed in at least 20 incidents of workplace rage. Following this series of events, the idiom entered common parlance and has been applied to murders committed by employees in acts of workplace rage, irrespective of the employer; and generally to describe fits of rage, though not necessarily at the level of murder, in or outside the workplace.

Thanks for the info I do understand the term just sometimes seems unfair to sterotype postal workers because it happens in other work places as well. :???:

Quote..........because it happens in other work places as well.

Blame it on the media.  I'm sure you are right that it happens in other workplaces, but the postal workers got the publicity.
