Leatherlyke screws/rivets

Hey, all you Leatherlyke boys/girls/people, I have a question.  I received my Leatherlyke bags a couple of weeks ago, and just got around to installing them.  The install went fine, but then I noticed one of the lids seemed loose.  On closer inspection, it apears to be missing some screws that attach the hinge to the saddlebag body itself (3 on one side, and 1 on the other are missing).

I called Leatherlyke directly and asked if they could just send my the screws.  Their response was that they don't use screws to attach the hinge to the lid or the body, but rivets.  Now on my set, the hinge is riveted to the lid, but screws hold the hinge to the body.

So my question to you is, is the hinge on your Leatherlyke bags riveted, screwed, or combination.  FYI, I have the S311 model, the Contemporary Style.

Rod,
I looked at my set (traditional style but I don't think there is a build difference) and it does look like its rivets all around.  I think the case to lid attachement only looks like screws; I think you see only the back side of the rivets and the rest are hidden under the bag's inner lining.  Hope this helps.

PS
Great bags; waterproof and easy on/off.

You are right, they are rivets all around.  Downside is that my set is still missing 4 of the 12 rivets that hold the hinges to the bags.  Leatherlyke has agreed to ship them back, and fix them up right.

Apparently their quality control is a bit lacking, but their customer service is at least making it a wash.  Assuming of course that they fix them up right :-)
