So, I got my grip heaters installed and the bike put back together, but I noticed that I vibrated the clutch cable adjustment screws on the left side controls when I was using the skil saw to cut out the bar end weight.  I think I got it mostly back where it should be, but it still doesn't feel quite right.

I assume the larger ring should be loose until your done adjusting the smaller nut/sleeve and then you screw it down to lock against the clutch handle?  What should the handle feel like?  Should there be any slack in it, or how tight to you make it?

Never done this before, if you couldn't tell.

Should be about 4-5mm slack in it I believe if memory serves me..

Dan,

Simplistic explanation.

If you have too much slack the clutch will not Disengage fully and gear shifting will be more difficult, too tight or no slack and your clutch may not fully Engage, clutch slippage and a chance to burn up your clutch.
