Thanks for the lead on the seat. Unfortunately it was a few hours too late. We went to the Spring Motorcycle Show in Toronto on Saturday and I put a deposit on a 2003 Honda ST1300. It had everything I was looking for in a new bike except the "Magna" name on it. V4, shaft drive, comfy seats, lots of storage space and a center stand.
As much as I'd like to I can't keep both so the Magna went up for sale Sunday morning and I had three interested parties contacting me by the end of the day. I'm going to miss that bike and all you guys here for your helpful advice and entertaining stories.
If we can ever persuade Honda to revive the Magna name I may rejoin the fold.
Happy trails guys and keep the shiny side up.

Thats a nice looking seat but it won't fit an 86 Magna it will only fit the 82 and 83 year models those 2 years were the 750 models in 84 they went to a 700 and changed the way the seats attached.

Put a Mustang seat on that Magna and she will like it more than the CBR!

Actually, I found a mustang seat for my magna after my last post. Can't pass up $270 +20 s&h for one with 100 miles on it.

I love it and so does the gf.

Sorry to see your magna go Andrew. I thought about selling my magna before also, but even if I didn't own a v4 honda I wasn't planning on leaving this group of guys.  MOOT is full of too many good people.

No arguement from me there either.
Does at least owning a V4 allow me stay?
