I hope I'm am the only one that has had this problem, but just in case I'm not I'm going to mention it. As of lately I had come to the conclusion that either something was wrong with my Magna or I just couldn't ride anymore. Any time I had to make a slow turn at an intersection or on to a side road where I needed to let off the throttle and then throttle up again, it felt like it was going to fall on it's face , then quickly surge forward. Herky ,jerky came to mind again. I knew it wasn't clutch or gear ratio and the bike still runs like a scalded dog. Here is where my embarrassment comes in, I was sitting at Wally World waiting on my wife and messing with the throttle when I realized something wasn't quite right, after a tiny twitch in my tiny brain I realized that I had developed about an inch of free play in the throttle. When did this happened, I don't know, maybe the last time I changed handle bars, anyway I grabbed a wrench and took the extra slack out, man did that make a difference, like having a new bike!! My point is don't forget to check the little things, sometimes small problems creep up so slow that you don't even realize you have them. Like I said, hope no one else has had anything like this happen, but if you have I hope this helps..

Getting old are we Charles....did you remember your way home?  :P :P When that happens your siblings start checking into nursing homes, don't tell them about this.

It is sometimes hard to do the simple checks/fixes first!

I am usually one who skips past this step right into some giant tangled mess of a sleuth wannabe mechanical mystery theory!
