Recently, with the help of Alan, put Progressives on front to prevent nose-dives when stopping or decelerating.  On Sun. took a 160 mile ride with 25, gusting to 35-40 cross winds.  The Progressives did not allow the front wheel to veer any with the higher gusts.  The front wheel on the old '82 and the '96 pre-Progressives would veer sharply with high gusty cross winds.  Just another safety reason to put Progressives on.

Yes, Brad.  I know all about diving and veering of the front in heavy cross winds having learned the hard way.  As a result, I'll be installing Progressives on my '84 V45 soon.  Thanks for your very timely post
