I need help with the risers (some call them stantions). One of mine is bent which makes it a little wierd to drive. I have the riser blocks to move the bars up and back. I'm don't care for the looks or price of those from Cycle-istiC. The salvage yards don't have any Magnas up here and I would hate to find out what Honda wants for them.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to were I might find replacements at a resonable price? Even used in good condition is acceptable.

You don't mention the year of your Magna.  If '86 or older you may contact either:

Arthur Hettler; email: ahettler@hotmail.com

or

Aaron Gates; email: aarongd@verizon.net

They have lots of 1st generation Magna parts (and some other newer parts) and should be able to help you out.  Tell them Trapper sent ya..

A lot of the triple trees have a rubber bushing that the riser bolt goes through, might hold the front tire with your knees and give a counter twist....

As Greg stated try twisting back.. I had the project bike before Greg and my son had layed it over I thought the riser was bent also but it was not just loosened things up and it all slid back into place surprised me LOL but hey I did not have to replace it!!!!!

Magnum Magna

One time the bike started falling and I gave it everything I had to keep it from falling, to the point I pulled a muscle in my arm and leg, but it did not go down.  I had to gently tap the handlebars against the stop to straighten them back out.

I'm sorry about not listing the year.  :-? It's a '96. Unfortunately the ex-girlfriend hit it in the garage last December.

I have tried twisting them into place but they just will not go far enough.

I posted some place else as well and have been contacted by a dealer. He is sending me a set for $20. The local dealers wouldn't talk to me about a bike "that old".  :x And the salvage yards don't have any Magna's of any age.

Thanks guys.
