CDI fittings

Does anyone know if The CDI's or spark units off a 1984 V30 fit a 1983 V45 magna ?

What I have been able to determine...the Spark Units, or what I'm calling the Pulse Generator for the '84 V30 & '83 V45 have similar, but different part numbers and what appears to be slightly different configurations.  They very possibly could be retro-fitted, but it seems as if some alterations to mountings, connectors, et cetera may be required.

Being a purest, I would rather try to find spark units from an '82 - '84 V45 to put on an '83 V45.  I can put you in touch with a couple of guys who may have parts you need.  I'm sure other MOOTsters here could help, too..!

Not sure which will interchange either. All I can remember now is that the one with the red end has the rev limiter.
