In December of last year I had some carburetor work done on my '99 Valkyrie by Grand Prix Motoring in Houston (They specialize in metric racing bikes).
They had never worked on a Valk but thought they could handle it.  When they finished, they felt they had done everything right, but it kept running rich.  After months of poor mileage, many conferences with other mechanics, and pulling the carbs down myself, with no fix.  A couple of weeks ago I found a mechanic who knew what was wrong.

I contacted Evan, the owner/operator of Grand Prix and suggested that he refund the cost of the labor I had to pay to have the carbs fixed properly.
HE DID NOT HESITATE TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT.  I did not ask for the cost of parts because I would have paid Evan for them had he been able to diagnose the problem.

It is wonderful to know that there are mechanics with integrity where we can take our bikes.  Evan at Grad Prix is one such man.
