Thanks for the honest opinions.That's really what I was looking for I guess.Someone to agree with me about the prices being too high.I'm hoping with all of of the experts of MOOT agreeing with me, I can convince him to drop his prices and say goodbye to these bikes.I am by no means a mechanic.I enjoy tinkering on the old bikes and have gotten lots of fun out of working on these,but it is time for them to go.
The original reason for the post was to try and make sure that there wasn't a serious problem with the noisy bikes.I would never be able to live with myself if  I helped sell a bike to someone knowing there was something definately wrong it.The owner was not very concerned about the noise,but I was.Maybe I'm the one that is freaking out for no reason and it actually is nothing.I just want to be sure they aren't going to blow up on the possible new owners,and cost them their hard earned money to fix.I'm a poor boy and I know I would not want it to happen to me ,couldn't afford it.
He brought over a bottle of Rislone engine treatment to pour into the bikes to see if that will help(I guess we are  starting to get to him!)LOL!!!!  I'll keep at him! thanks guys!!!
