Hi everyone! I have another newby question.I have two 84 V65 Magnas in my garage thet have sat for over ten years. The problem I'm having is in the secondary tank I believe.I'm not getting any fuel to the carbs. The bike runs great with a gas I.V. bottle straight to the carbs. The line that is before the shut-off valve thats inside the secondary tank seems to be clogged.I know they don't pump fuel unless the engine is running.I can blow through the fuel line that leaves the tank, and it is clear, but when I put the fuel valve back on in the on position nothing! In or out.Does anyone know what I could do, or what is at the end of the line in the fuel tank thats restricting the flow?Is there some kind of check valve or something or is it just gimmed up?I tried to run a small cable through it,but i don't want to damage anything.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

There are two tubes where the shutoff valve goes: one comes from the bottom of the tank and has a screen on it at its lower end, the other one goes from the valve to the filter.  The screen on the pickup line gets plugged.  Solvent should loosen it but you might have to remove the aux tank to get it thoroughly clean.  Removal means taking off most of the back end of the bike, seat, grab bar, rear fender, rear wheel, inner fender, fuel pump, battery box and a few other small items.

Thanks for the info.I was trying to avoid removing the tank.I did it on the first one and it was a pain. Was hoping someone could teach me a couple of secrets to cut a couple of steps out(Like the tank removal one!)LOL!
I've tried B-12 and other carb cleaners, and after soaking for a couple of days it still won't clear up.After 10 years of sitting this stuff has gotten pretty bad.I was afraid to force a stiff wire through the line in fear of causing some damage.
Thanks,
Robert

Will gas come out of the lines with the fuel pump off? I assume the fuel pump is running, but have you checked to make sure it's actually pumping?
