Oh great and all knowing magna owners...  I come here humbled asking for information.   how does a person stop the choke knob from moving back into the off position alllll  by itself?
thanks,

Jess

Check to make sure your nut is tight on the holder.  Mine was not wanting to slide back in and I loosened the nut up just a little and now it slides in with little effort.  May or may not work, just thought I would throw that out there.. :D

try tightening the large plastic nut behind the knob, but do not over tighten or you will crack the threads.

I tried both of those suggestions...  i did notice the knob 'wire' thingy has a flat spot on one side...  is that normal?

The nut they are referring to is the smooth round washer looking piece that the choke rod slides into. not the nut behind the brkt but the rubber in front of the brkt . And yes it only takes a small amount of pressure to adjust it.

I recently replaced my choke cable because I was smart enough to tighten the nut behind the bracket too tight.  But I am sure the new cable works alot better.

It would have be nice if they had made it look like some kind of  nut, instead of a washer. I found mine by accident..

I went straight to the dealer and I believe it was listed as $26 but with a discount I think it was around $21.
