Glad it all went well.  Sounds like at this rate of recovery you can make this ride!

Good to read it went well.  Don't rush back on that beautiful bike but hope you are back in the saddle very soon.

Awesome, and Congrats !
When was that added to the stable ?

Help, I need a bigger garage.

I flew down to Corpus Christi a couple of weeks ago, looked it over, paid the man and rode it back that night. I got in DeSoto at 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning. It was a fun adventure on a really awesome piece of equipment.

This bike needs a lot of polishing and some smaller items will need to be replaced (mirrors, misc. fasteners) due to gulf coast weather corrosion. I have been systematically changing all the fluids and checking maintenance items in preparation for the ride.

I am ready. Let's Roll!!!

It is my plan to ride the Valk on this one. I hope to get through this one without any problems. My record on our big rides is not so good regarding mishaps.

In regards to the rear car tire, the previous owner just put new Avon Venoms on the bike, so it will be a while before the cager tire subject is approached. In the meantime, I'll just have to follow Curtis and watch his go round and round.

That sounds like a lot of big bikes in front to catch the bugs.
BTW, Nha will be coming on his Super and my friend Don on his souped up Harley will be coming along.
I am hungry!!!!
