Fat 5gal Magna Fuel Tank

Nice looking tank, but I'm not sure I like the Dolly Parton look on the Magna. It looks pretty well proportioned as it is. I do understand for all you Iron Butts, the need more fuel and less stops. Personally my candy a$$ needs to get off after a 100 miles anyway .

I will admit, if the price were a little lower, say $500 then I would probably have my tank off.  But at a grand, that is hard to stomach..(and tell my wife).  The only agervating thing is the bunch I ride with has it seems like 20 gallon tanks and never need fuel.. Then when I wave my hand and point down to my tank, they get that "here we go again look".   I guess we could all go the Jim route and put a tank on the back.

I haven't seen anybody jumping at this, so I thought I would help you guys out; Because we need to check the quality of the workmanship, length of time to complete, etc, etc...
I will sacrifice my tank, IF you guys take up a collection and pay for the work...
I know, I know, I'M making the biggest sacrifice here..  But for you guys, I'd do it just for your satisfaction of being able to recommend, or not recommend this product! SO, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make just in honor of you (collectively - so to speak!!)

I wonder if the Valkna tank mod would be something cheaper??  But then we would have to buy a beat up valkyrie tank and fab it ourselves..  They do look good though.. Hmmm...

I like the beer keg look that Jim has on his new prize.  I presume it is easy to leave off, as well.

I agree if it were lesser $$$ I would seriously think about one for the Project 96 as I think it would give it a nice beefy look!
