I've got us a deal on using a Dyno for a half a day. Having your bike dynoed here cost about $50.00. I can get the dyno for half a day for about $350.00 to use as many times as we want.  This is a brand new machine, one or two have already shown interest.  Damon ( the owner) said we could dyno around 10 to 12 bikes in half a day. We could even do a before and after on a shim job. I can set it up for a Sat. evening, so folks could ride in Sat morning or Fri evening before.
Please reply if your interested or in some cases still interested.

PS we will be splitting the cost, I said I could get it, I didn't say I could pay for it  :D

Charles I can't remember if I expressed interest in doing this before, but for me right now is not a good time.  My plant just laid off 66 hourly employees permanently and I've been on temporary layoff for five weeks (a week at a time here and there) since September.  I'm having to prioritize to keep doing the things that I enjoy.  Unfortunately Dyno testing my Valks is low on the list.  Thanks anyway for getting this going for everyone, I hope it is a rousing success so we can repeat it at a later date.

Thanks hoot, I always need prayers. LOL

I'm making it ok for now .........just not getting to do everything I want.  My only real fear is that Kraft will start closing plants if the Nation's economic situation continues for too long.  My plant is under the microscope right now since our cost-per-pound is not in line with other plants, so we'll definately be "on the table" for closure if it comes to that.

The good news is less people are eating out, and thereby more people are shopping at the grocery store and buying more while they are there.. Should be good for Kraft.. MMMM Mac'N'Cheese

Charles, I appreciate your effort, but Texarkana is a bit of a haul to discover that my bike really doesn't deliver as much power to the real wheel as I claim it does...

There are some things I really don't wanta know -- perhaps this is one of 'em.

I once hosted a wrench session at my place.  We had five folks, total, and none us of really wanted to wrench on anything -- the sum total work was trimming down a little plate that holds the inspection sticker under a license plate to remove the advertising from it!!!

We had a nice barbecue lunch at The Salt Lick, though.

Probably better to try this in the spring time.

I would but after I do my carb adjustments, V&H exhaust and play with jetting some. I didn't plan on the new bike and I would have been ready on the other one sooner. This one will be a while before I put the other pipes back on. I won't be ready for some time.

Are you the one that Greg says use to beat him down on occasion when you guys were younger?

Charles: I'm always game for an adventure. With some notice as to a date, I would be willing to ride out with the Dallas crew and do this one weekend.
You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

We can just leave this open until after the holidays to see who might be interested. I had already figured on having it in the Spring to give as many as possible a chance to plan for it. I am already planning a swap meet/cookout (per THE QUEENS request) for this coming spring. It was supposed to have been in the fall but that didn't happen so I will try again. I wanted to keep the two events separate because of the time restraint. I'm throwing the dyno wrench session out now so we can get it organized and pick the best weekend for as many as possible. For right now I just need to know how many are interested to see if there are enough of us to make it worth it. We can pick a date later..
