Very nice work gentlemen.

Great write up and accompanying photos.

I look forward to further riding reviews.
You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

Robert, what size tire did you use?

Also, did you have to buy a spacer for the brakestay rod?

Car Tire 165-HR-15 6 1/8 25.0 5 3/4

I had the bigger 170 80 15 Dunlop so I had already had the Cycle-isic brakestay rod on the Magnum

Robert, I have the right drill bit you need when you come back over, it is 1/32 larger than the other one I had.

But do you think you need the brakestay rod, or do you think a stock rod would have been fine??

I am just over an inch to the swing arm and about ½ inch to the breakstay bar.  I have heard of indenting the bar right at the wide point of the tire.  I have not added washers or indented it so I am not much help on that direction of modifying it.

DG, the bike had 6500 miles on it and I assume the tire was original. I put another 1K+ on them and it was time to change them. From reading the Rocket forum the people do not get much mileage out of the tires, they are metzlers and they seem to go faster.

Ahhh.  I thought you had bought it new.  That makes more sense.  I had this vision of you laughing maniacly while doing burnouts next to a Harley.  LOL

You bet Lance, thanks!

As we learn more I will make changes as needed. I changed my wording several times as I re-read what I write.  :-P :-P

Hoot,

I can't PM you because the system said I PMed too much today or at least with in the last hour.

To answer your PM....why didn't you say so. I was wondering why you resent, thought you had a Blond moment or a "William" moment or maybe just a moment.  :-P :-P
