I have one of the not-recommended Mini Magnetic tire gauges stuck under my tank..
It may be inaccurate, but I bet it is a whole lot more accurate that the gauge on the compressor at the gas station.. It is always there when I needed.
BUT, due to your article, I think I will compare it with a couple of other gauges I have and see how far off it is. Then I should be able to compensate from there, in a pinch...
