I know you asked Charles but here is my 2 cents. 

If I had seen this I probably would have tried it. Off the top of my head my concerns would be.
Number of threads going in to the risers.
Length of the center section and the distance in the triple-tree.

Obviously the rest of the bike needs some cleaning and tlc, that's coming, but first it has to be comfortable  .

Nice Gauges.. Looks like the bike also needs some SeaFoam!!!

That caught my eye to Allen.  Them look like valkyrie gauges.      Charles, have you replaced the super dim lights in the gauges yet?
