I was wondering on peoples experience on Jet brands..
I will be purchasing new 105 jets for the red Magna..
Does anyone have experience with JetsRUs OEM equivalent jets vs. genuine Keihin jets..
There doesn't seem to be anything "magical" about jets.. It's just a hunk of brass with a hole drilled in it..
Is there any reason NOT to go with the aftermarket jets???

I bought my jets from jetsrus and they have worked great for me. It's a piece of brass with a hole in it.

They sell both OEM and After Market..
Are you confirming that you bought the after market ones???
Just wanting to make sure..

I only use the same brand of jets as the carburetor. I have seen people who restore bikes have fits with another brand, many may work out but I try to do the job once.

I did buy the aftermarket ones, but Terry has a good point maybe I was lucky.

I was called away before I could finish my comment.

Because of problems most of the rebuilders use the same brand of jets as the carburetors being worked on.

I also have the jetsrus aftermarket 105s.  Have them on for 3 years and no problems that I know of, except my low speed jets will clog if I don't ride enough  :-P

Ok, so that's two aftermarkets with no issues...
I'm also installing 42's in the low speed (already have these out of another bikes stock carbs). Hopefully that will help a little with the clogging issue

The biggest issue is with quality assurance.  Some of the aftermarket units can be off size a bit.

My thoughts exactly I just didn't convey them as well.
