Does anyone near me have a carb sync tool? I'd like to sync my carbs since I have them off the bike and going to be doing a little cleaning to hopefully get rid of the bogging issue I have been having with my 86.

Here's the post on V4 BBS

I'd like to learn who to do it. So wondering if anyone is near so maybe we can sync them together!

whats a good cleaner to use on the carbs? Alcohol? The spray stuff? I know some of the internal parts are sensitive of can be ruined. I'm planning on cleaning out the jets, floats and vacuum sliders.

I use Berrymans B12 liquid and spray carb cleaner on mine.  I soak them in the liquid at least overnight and then use the spray to spray through the passages, followed by compressed air.

I have one, but SERIOUSLY dont think its worth the work.  Unless the carbs have been seriously monkey'ed with or completely apart from each other its not going to help anything that a bench sync wont get with-in limits..

Alright got the bike running again! I cleaned the carbs didn't really find anything out of the norm except alittle slack in one of the jet housing. Made sure all the diaphragms were set perfectly. Since I didn't have the tools to measure the floats I had them set by a shop (Only $37.50) and he told me 2 were perfect and 2 were out of whack. Took the bike for a ride and she pulls harder now but still has a slight hesitation at 7-8k but nothing nearly like before. Will pull through on the lower gears. But I'm happy with it because I never ride it like that often. If I get the itch I'll pull the carbs and change the main jets up one size but right now all I want to do is ride! Thanks for all your help.
