Are you trailering up with Jeff and Jim?  Jeff sent me the itenerary.  I need to check it out to see if and when our tracks coincide.  If possible, I'll alter course to hook up with ya'll for part of your riding.

No, Bill and I will trailer separately and meet up with Jeff and Jim at noon in Canyon, Texas on 17th.  We will ride the Palo Duro Canyon in the afternoon, have dinner, sleep, and trailer to Alamosa, CO the next day.

It would be great if you could join us for all or part of the trip.

I have to work on Friday the 17th so I'll leave after work and hot foot it to Vernon for my first night.  Saturday and Sunday night I'll be in Colorado Springs visiting my best friend from high school.  He usually plans some kind of adventure for us.

I have not finalized my schedule after Monday morning when I leave Colorado Springs.  I'm pretty sure I'll try to ride Hwy 149 south from Gunnison area to South Fork and on to Pagosa Springs.  That highway "owes" me.  Last trip I did the whole length of it in the rain.  Believe me high mountain passes in the rain are not fun.  Luckily the rain stopped before the traffic on Wolf Creek Pass into P.S. or that would have been hairy.  At least on the other passes I was by myself.  I'll pop on over to Durango from there and go north on 550 on Tuesday most likely but that could change at this point.

I'll let ya'll know when I get my plans nailed down.
