I had a great time with Jeff at Cresson last weekend. We saw some great knee draggin' on the track, got to visit with racers Gil Epperson and Dave Wilson and have lunch at the new Tumbleweed BBQ Restaurant in Cresson (a good place for lunch stop on a future MOOT ride).

Two accidents while I was there watching the 6 hour endurance race. The picture is one of the casualties, a Yamaha I think. Riding on the edge out there with those guys.

You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

The way his crew was talking, I'm pretty sure he was just banged up. The other wreck trashed that bike too.

These guys are just moving so fast on this track, when they lose it, physics does a number on their equipment and them sometimes too. It's got to be tough keeping your concentration up as well in this heat. They look like they are going to drop when they come out of those racing leathers.

It was a great day, got to visit, ride, eat, and watch races    Don't get much better than that.

100+ degree heat and leathers make for a very long and tiring day for sure but I bet they enjoyed every minute of it, I know I would have.
