Remember some decel pop is supposed to be there, as you have the throttle closed and the engine is still spinning higher RPM than idle, so therefore it is supposed to be lean in that situation..
You take away all the decel pop then it will be too rich on the low end...

Just a little up date after several tanks of gas, the gas mileage dropped about 2 miles per gallon, but the better performance is well worth that. Also warms up much quicker in the mornings without the need of chocking.
