Wide rear wheel for V65???

Has anyone given thought to putting a VTX 1300 wheel on V65? Hubs look similar.....15 inch wheel but aspect ratio of wider tire will keep height almost the same.
Can go to 180 width but would require a minor(notch) alteration to swing arm shaft tube, Honda has notched some of it's factory swingarms on other models for the same purpose, so it can be done.
I saw a 180 wheel custom built, I'm sure most of you have seen it as well.
Can't see $600.00 to alter a stock V65 wheel.
I always heard: 'If there is a wheel...there is a way!'
