Ride to Talihina, OK Saturday 03/13

I plan on a ride to Talihina on Saturday leaving from Chilis at 8 A.M. This is at the corner of 380 and 75 in McKinney. We may get back about 5 P.M.

what is your route going to be

It is not exact yet but head through Bonham to Paris and North from there. I plan on heading East South of Talihina and head up over the mountain coming out just South of Talihina.

I will do some checking and let you know. I think the last time I rode this route we got there about noon.

Bob are you riding all the way to the Queen Wilhimena lodge on the Ar side? If you can, please post a map of your route when you figure it out.

121 NE TO BONHAM  E GAS
121 NE to 82 E to 78N to 273N
FM 273 N to FM 100
FM 100 N to FM 79E
FM 79E to FM 197E
FM 197E to 271 N Arthur City
FM 271 N thru Hugo (GAS?)
FM 271 N to FM 144E
FM 144E to Indian Hwy N
(about 22 miles from 144. this road had no sign, it was the only major road heading N, 1/8 mile in on the NW corner of the road was a campgrounds. When it comes out to 271 again the sign said 444.)
Indian Hwy N to 271 N Talihina
271 N to 2nd ST. E /RT 1 (271 still)
R on RT 1 (ABOUT 7 MILES) TALIMENA HWY
Talimena to Mena and back and then home.
271 S to Indian HWY S to 144 W to 271 S

Since I have not seen anyone looking to join me at this point I am going to amend the ride to Whitewrite and west to St. jo and points between here and the OK border.
Will leave my house in Frisco around 8:30.

...been looking at Talaimena ride for a while and hope to run it this year sometime
