First off I personally don't think I would ever buy this chain-sprocket kit from ebay. Although, Just wondering if anyone has taken a chance and bought a cheap kit like this and how did it work out?  Even if not would you ever buy something like this and install it? Thanks

I would consider it..
But hey.. I'm crazy.. Just ask anyone on the forum...
IF you have the $$$ - go with the name brand and spend the extra, but sometimes you do what you have to do to keep on riding..

I've got a regina on my bike, it's either the zr-t or the zr-p chain. I like it so far. another member on another board also runs a regina chain, not sure what series of chain it is though. I have jt sprockets i think.

Thanks for the reply.    Good to know it's not junk.

Hey Lawrence-

Thank you.

More than two?  How many you think we gonna need to "practice" with?   LOL

I am trying to set up a lunch ride on the 2nd weekend of this month to Beaumont or Lake Charles with an old friend in Hstn.

If I do, any Mootsters in the area are welcome to join.  (Allen, if you're in)

Cheers!

Troy, I haven't ruined a rivet (yet), so two should do.  Still, if we wreck one, it could be a long walk home...

if he gets the regina chain, it will come with a clip type link and a rivet type link. you could always use the clip type in case of emergency if you take it easy on the bike on the way home.

Well I bought this set today.  For the extra $3.95 the seller (Kevin) is shipping a rivet master link ALONG WITH the clip style.

I will use the clip to go to MM#8 and Lawrence said he would peen the rivets in place for a permanent fix.

i wouldn't replace that stock rear (steel) sprocket with that aluminum-looking rear one in the picture. they have been known to wear out rapidly. stick with steel if you can.
