Handlebar risers not level

Last summer I dropped my bike - it had to happen sooner or later and at least I wasn't moving.  It took me a while to get my clutch housing in and I then replaced it and found my mirror wouldn't line up.  I have fought with it for a long time and realized (about damn time) that in the fall the handlebars bent.  I thought I could just loosen the upper holder and adjust the handlebars -  but I noticed the risers are not even.  So have my risers been compromised?  Should I replace them or do I just adjust them?

Thought and opinions are always appreciated.

There is no adjustment on the risers, so you may want to remove and compare them, you may have bent one of them...

Just so you don't feel bad, a couple of days ago I was performing my annual oil change on my wife's and my bike.. I finished up her '03 Sabre and I went to do my Magna...
My routine on both bikes it so roll the bikes up on some 2X10 boards I have (about a foot long) and put a 2X6 under the kickstand. I find this raises the bike just enough to be able to better get the oil pan under the bike.
So, once I finished my wife's bike, I took the wood an put it by my Magna. I backed the Magna out of the garage and I rode it around the big block to get the engine all warmed up. I rolled back into the garage and was thinking to myself.. "Self, Yeah, this is about right, I'll place the boards here, I'll roll about another 8" forwards, yeah, this should be about right"...

I jumped off my bike to place the wood in front of my tires.. Only thing is, when I jumped off my bike, I had forgotten to put down my kickstand.. The bike pushed me and my head hit the kitchen door..

Just to make things WAY better, my wife comes out and says.. " I heard a loud crash, and then some "words"". (as my bike is laying on it's side).. "Oh, I was afraid you dropped MY bike"   she says.. She was nice enough to help me get my bike up..

It dribbled some gas, but otherwise no worse for wear..

Then I started to drain my oil and hit the front header with the palm of my hand and burnt it pretty good...

Did I mention how much I like working on motorcycles??? Always an adventure!!  :???:

Sorry to hear you dropped your bike, but glad you didn't get hurt. Do you have stock risers or after market, post a pic I may have a set you can have, if they are what you need.

Especially when your wife catches you red-handed!

I had a similar problem and even went and bought a replacement riser thinking it was bent. When I went to loosen the lower bolts holding the riser it sprung back to where it should be.
Loosen top and bottom bolts and see if they don't spring back into place.

Thank you everyone!  Just another reason why this is the best group of people in the world!  I did loosen the riser like SLYDYNBYE suggested and with a little elbow grease and my son's assistance (of course all he did was sit on the bike) my risers are even, the handlebars are straight and I don't look at myself in the mirror when I ride!

Thank you again guys, you know how I love being the biker chic that works on her own bike!  And you empower me to be able to do just that!

I'm glad you got to keep your Magna, I know Brenda will be excited to get to ride with you again, now that she has moved up to her Magna.. She was riding the VLX 600, when we met you at Mootmag in OK..

My son said "I can't believe you're this upset about getting rid of the bike.  Just keep it!"  I too was very happy I was able to keep it.  I plan on being at MOOT MAG next year - it has just been great fun the both times I have been to not continue to go.  Wonderful people and great riding.  A perfect vacation for me!

Tell Brenda I said hello and if you come to the Houston area, look me up.
