Does anyone use a 90/100 watt headlight bulb?

At $17.00 a pair, I figured if they only lasted a year it would still be worth it and I would just replace the whole set but so far they are still working just fine, haven't even had to replace the bulbs yet.

You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

After carousing around the net I found that the Silverstar had a lot of positive feedback. It is a white light. I'm not entirely convinced but I am only out twenty bucks if I don't like it. Plus I could use it as a spare. We will see.

OSRAM bulb and a VTX headlight bucket.  Night and day difference.  I upgraded to the VTX bucket first, made quite a difference in the light output and distribution even with the stock bulb.  Then I added an Osram bulb, and that also made a noticable light output difference.  I never tried the stock bucket with an Osram bulb though.

My opinion, as was stated before, is the stock bucket is your biggest light output holdback.  I'm also not a fan of the "high" output bulbs.  Too much risk from the extra draw and heat.  There are better ways to increase light output without going this route.
