My 1986 v45 seat has gone down the crapper. The foam is popping out the leather is all torn. I have been looking around and foud that most bikes for the early v45 have the bench seat. Does anyone know if  I can swap a bench seat from another early magna so i can get a cover and stop looking like i don't love my bike.

The 1985 V45 seat fits. Earlier than that I'm not sure about. The V45 parts list shows different brackets for 82-84.

Has anyone switched seat brackets. I want a bench seat because i will have more option for seat repair and after market seats. If anyone has any advice it would be very helpful. I will keep you updated on the process.
