The key is you must get your pilot jets cleaned and unclogged, I would check float levels also.

If you go back in with clogged pilot jets you have accomplished little.

NOW you tell me!  :x

The Clymer manual says if you do not suspect anything wrong do not mess with them, so I didn't.
Started it up-
It runs EXACTLY the same as first video- DOH!!!  :x

So after reading TLRam1's post, I went to record the turns as I get them out...
I can get to them easily without ripping it apart. So I popped off the cover, and there is ANOTHER protective cover!
Do I need to drill that anti tamper plug out to get to the screws on an '84 V65?
(is there an easier/safer way than drilling it out?)

Just took the pilots out- they needed a cleaning too.
one was turned out 5 turns, another 2 1/2, and the others 3 1/2...
Put them back in tight, and backed off 2 3/4 turns each- like the manual said and ...Whalla!
Started smooth! Idled good! :thumb

Took her on the road...  (I'll post a video of it -FIRST DRIVE for the V65 IN MN!)

She's a Beast again!
Thanks for the input and tips guys. I'm sure I'll be back for something, until then-
Drive safe, and God Bless!
Jeff

edit- Here's the video's (they're really short (thanks hunny!)) I put them together as a playlist!
