88 Super Magna Clutch Woes

Hi guys,
I need your help. At long red lights or stop signs waiting for traffic to clear, my hydraulic clutch seems to leak down and makes the clutch try to engage before I release the lever. The previous owner put a kit in the master cylinder and the slave unit. There doesn't seem to be any loss of fluid, just lost pressure.
Since the bike sat in a garage unridden/uncranked for at least 7 years. i feel like the master cylinder/slave probably has some pitted bores and is letting fluid past the seals. All of the honda parts fiche list the complete slave but when I've ordered I've been told it's no longer available. Does anyone know where I can buy a new clutch slave? Or possibly a good used one thats rebuildable?

Before replaceing parts make sure the system is bled properly.

It's a little nerve racking to be stoped in traffic and have your bike want to take off when you still have the clutch lever in. I bled the system numerous times to make sure I had no air, even loosened the banjo bolt as suggested in a previous forum. If I pump the lever, it seems to work just fine. However if I just pull it once, it feels like the pressure leaks down. Since i can't find any fluid lost, and I don't have to add fluid, I can only guess that it's internal. I"ve placed orders, now I'll wait and see if any are still available. Thanks again

Bill does sound like maybe a fluid is leaking past the piston or something.  I look forward to reading about what the problem turns out to be and the fix.

Thanks to all for your help and suggestions. The bad news is, after trying all of the sources, everyone tells me the same thing, "clutch slave NO LONGER AVAILABLE". If I can't find a good used one, I'm going to try again to rebuild mine. The previous owner said that the slave piston was stuck when he purchased the bike, making me think the pitting is there rather than the master cylinder. Again, if anyone knows of a good used clutch slave, I'm a "BUYER"
