Does anyone know a good upholstery shop in the Houston area.  I noticed the other night that I have a seam poping on the back edge of my front seat.  I want to get it restiched and possibaly have a gel pad installed at the same time.

I probaly could do it my self but my skills with the sewing machine aren't all that great anymore.  I haven't sewn anyting with it in years since I did some slip cases for some electrionc equipment.

Kerry,
There is a place on FM1488 called DOOLEY'S. He's a world class ulphosterer. He puts upholstery in show cars like Coddington and Foose. Dooley will not be the cheapest but he might possibly be the best in the Houston area. His shop is 5.2 miles west of the RR tracks in Magnolia, Tx. on FM1488. Call 1-800-687-2552.
I Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill I will give him a call this week and see what he has to say.

Alan, if you could remember who that was that would be prefect as I live at 1960 and Vetrans.

I found a good one on the Southwest side in Missouri City area.  Don't have the name or phone number handy but will get if still in need.  Let me know.

I had both saddle and passenger seat redone on my '84 VF700C for about $100.   I think was an excellent job, and the price seemed VERY nice considering what I was quoted elsewhere.
