missing bolt

Okay, I'm absent-minded, but I apparently didn't secure the passenger pad bolt down when I changed out bags, and the bolt fell off who knows where. Problem is that the dealer doesn't seem to know what fits, I work tue-sat dawn to dusk, and my wife isn't a rider. Does anyone out there happen to know what size bolt fits???

Are you talking of the single bolt to hold down the pillian to the rear fender?
I have a '96 and have to use a longer bolt. If it's important to have an original I can send you one. Other wise it's a standard 8mm x 13mm stanless steel at the hardware store. They won't have the pretty chromed domed head though. Though some here have real nice polished stainless bolts and nuts.
