Suspension upgrade

Well with 120,000 miles+ on the odometer I think it's time to replace the suspension again.
I'd replaced the stock with Progressives front and rear at 60,000 miles and was kicking myself I hadn't done it sooner.
So I figure it's time again!

I'm open to other options, especially the RaceTech valve emulators for the forks... has anyone used those in general, or even specifically on the 3rd Gen Magnas?

I'm also wondering ifn anyone has done anything on the rear end other than 410's.  Progressive seems to have more variety in their lineup now than they did 60,000 miles ago in my life  :-D

Thanks all for comments and suggestions!

I did the Race Tech emulators and springs several years ago ... one of the best mods I've made to the bike.  If you have access to a drill press, drilling the extra holes in the damping rod is no problem.  I've got a write up on the process here:

Also have Progressive 440's out back ... no regrets there either.

Charlie, thanks for the link to the write up.. well done!  I've been into the forks before changing oil and seals (thanks to Buddy on this forum for his guidance!!) so your photos make sense.  If I understand correctly the RT valve sits between the damping rod and the fork spring, with the cute little yellow RT spring pointing up..?

How many miles have you put on these upgrades at this point?  Still equally happy?

I've got over 10K miles on them and still feel the same way about them (great upgrade).  I cannot, however, compare them to only doing something like progressive springs since I've never ridden a 3rd gen with that mod alone.  The emulator does indeed sit as you see it in the pictures (yellow spring up inside the fork springs).  Fluid pressure inside the damping rod/lower fork section will lift the cover held down by that spring and allow the fluid to flow to the upper part of the fork.  The damping effect is variable based on how the fork is compressed (sharp spike vs slow stroke).  This makes the front end much more compliant over things like road defects yet nice and stiff when you load it more slowly during cornering.
