I bought this 98 not running. The carbs were in a box. I installed them and the bike surged, popped , bucked, and bounced between 3 & 4   thousand rpm. I took them apart and found dirt, & torn diagrams.  The mechanical linkage is out of sync as well. They do have the stock jets. they are certainly rebuildable, but I don't have the proper tools and meters to set them.
Several years ago, I owned a V-Max that was in bad need of carbs. I went on the v max Forums and became good friends with "the carb King"  He sold me a rebuilt "ready to go" carb set. I sent him mine and the cash he wanted.  It was the best way to go. Just bolted them on and went ridding.
So.....is there a carb King on this forum that does the same thing ? I would love to do business with you.!!! Thanks.
Bike info- 1998  750cc magna.  26,000 miles. Stock untouched pipes. K&N filter. No other mods.

The post and the pricing is old, however, Billy has been doing this for years and I have personally been in his house and seen his operation (scary that anyone's wife would allow this, but his gal is an exceptional spouse).

He can hook you up with the parts or send your stuff to him and he will send you back a very pretty set of quads that will breathe new life into your machine.

I rebuild my own, but can't help you with the parts. Those diaphragms are a bitch.

Note: He is always stacked up with work, so, be patient. Inquiries are fine, but don't push and don't bitch.

Hope this helps.
