Silly question.  It's been along while since I've done a front brake service.
New pads are needed, and one of the pistons is very sticky.
Do I need to drain the brake fluid to pull out a piston to clean it and re-lube it?

How often does everyone actually do brake service?  (I say as I also need to do brake service on the DR too...)

And for fun, next time I am looking for the elusive 17 tooth front sprocket I am going to type it here to come up in a search

I have a JT sproket, you could try that brand..

I've never done it... But I'm pretty sure if you have a piston in a caliper that's sticking then you're gonna have to drain the entire brake system in order to service that caliper and then bleed the brakes and maybe even the banjo bolt on the caliper?  Have you checked the Magna service manual?

I have been also servicing my DR650 and have bred hatred of manuals as a result.... you're right, I should look.
