I had already decided that this would be my last batch of centerstands, as they are just too troublesome and costly to make for very little profit.

And now my cancer has progressed to stage 4, so I need to start winding down anyway. I will have 10 centerstands this week, so anyone who wants one should watch my webpage http://www.cycle-istic.com/centerstands/ and place an order immediately upon seeing my notice that they are ready. There are only 10, and there will be no more.

If anyone out there is a fabricator/welder, and would like to take on the job of making them in the future, I have the fixtures and they are available.  -- Dobie

Will the center stand lift the bike enough if you have a 170 tire on the bike.. I know it doesn't lift it much and the 170 is a taller tire..

Can you post it here when you about to release them to the website?

I am sorry to hear that things are NOT going well.. I will keep you in my prayers..

His stands work just fine with a 170.  It's easier to get up on the stand with the 170 actually and you have plenty of tire clearance off the ground when it's on it.

Well, I was able to get 5 center stands shipped before they put me in the hospital again. I will be here a few more days before I can go home and ship the other 5 units. There are a half-dozen people who will be disappointed, as their orders were placed after the last unit was already ordered. I'm using my laptop from the hospital and my business program isn't on it, so I have to wait to get home to my desktop. I will update everyone involved by email.
