I snapped the shift rod on my Mapam Forward pegs..
I wound up finding a shift rod at a dealer that was for a Yamaha, blah blah blah..
The hard part about the Shift rod it that is is 6mm both Right hand and LEFT hand thread.. Finding a Left hand thread die is a challenge..
So finding a new part from another bike, was the easier solution..  IT's just a shift rod..

Updated 4/21/18:

Everything is all bolted together now. Clutch is bled down. Went for first ride yesterday got about 12 miles on the ODO, running very poorly on three cylinders, I believe.

Mounted the KG sliding backrest, took a little creative thinking. Mounts ended up upside down and backwards, but they work and having a rider backrest is a real treat.

Trying to get away without a carb rebuild but if that's what it needs . . .

I'll post up some current picks later today.
