i had posted askin for suggestions what could be causing high idle after cleaning the carbs , new lowjets, cleaning mainjets  all orifices etc and re sync etc. but still idled at 4500 rpm. couldnt adjust idle with black knob. .
what could be causing this  ??
i went  and removed carbs again.today looked them over  . i  noticed the throttle wheel spring was  hooked in wrong place. thats why idle is high so  i moved it down about 1/4 inch and hooked it  right under where i had it hooked. and  put everything.back together. started right up idling better, i adjusted the cables a little an now it idles  normal   and starts on first try, no choke, needed..  , so after all the work i done cleaning everything and reassemble. now it runs better and is quicker  then its ever  been !!
so i am happy now that i got er runnin right. the way I WANTED  it to run :) thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.   and Merry Christmas to everyone.!!!
