1987 super magna advice

I'm going to look at and possibly buy my first motorcycle this weekend... Well depending on how things go. Even though I am pretty mechanically inclined when it comes to cars, motorcycles are pretty new territory for me so I'm not exactly sure what I should be looking out for. The specific bike I'm going to look at is a 1987 super magna. Any and all advice, pointers, warnings, and magna wisdom would be very appreciated.

I rode Jerry's from MOOT and it was a nice ride, he would be one of the ones on here who might know of any weak areas to look for, I have not heard of any for the Supers.
