Guys, some of you know I have maintained a magna web site for a few years that is geared towards maintenance issues on the V-4's.  I have recently retired from the USAF and got a good start on my new career in the oil fields.  Now that things are settling down some I will have more time to devote to my web site.  I am formerly inviting you guys to browse around in the forum on my site and provide any advice you may be able to on maintenance issues.  I am a certified aircraft mechanic that has moonlighted as an auto/bike mechanic for about 20 of those years; but I have found that it is good to have more than one mech reviewing and providing maintenance advice because it will be drawing on much more experience than I could gain in my life time.  My site has many links to motorcycle service manuals; I spent many, many late nights up searching for this info.  It just seemed to me that the info was out there but so scattered that most couldn't find it; so I created my site and put it all in one location.  Thanks in advance guys.......here is the link to my site.

Great to see you around again John and I wish you well in the next stage of your career.

I did notice one thing about your page.  The host that had the carb shim install has since deleted the info from his server and when I contacted him he said he was not sure if he would host it anymore.  The webpage (with the exception of a couple of pictures) can still be found here if you wanted to try to make your own page to host:

Hi Jimmy, great to hear from you again and thanks for the link info on the shim install. I will creat a page on the site to save the shim install info.

I have it saved on my computer as an html document with all the pictures. I can email it to you as a folder if you would like, it's only a little over 1Mb in size.

I may have or can take more PICs of a carb jet/shim install that I have coming up in a few weeks if you need?
Have anything in particular you want a shot of let me know I will get it.  I need to take more PICs anyway for MOOT.

Thanks Jeff; Greg, any project that you guys have time to document during a wrench event I would be glad to put on the site.  Don't feel obligated to document every project ya'll do; I do understand that it is very time consuming to take pic's and document a project.  So if you guys can think of a project worth the time it takes and would like to see it posted; by all means I'll make it happen.  Thanks............

One thing that might be helpful is a gear or sprocket ratio table for our Magnas just something to compare and make choices... Well for the 3rd gens anyhow since the others don't have to worry about that lololooolol

Hey John,  the site looks great.  I have been working lately on a site with cross refrences for common parts for the 1st gens like oil and air filters and stuff like that.  If you want to link to it or pull some of it for your site be my guest.
