Tire mounting in Houston

I just got off the phone with Motorcycle Discount Tires.  Their prices for a plug-patch are $25 off-bike, and $37.50 on-bike.  They said that they have not had any bad feedback on the patches they've done, and they did not try to sell me a new tire.  So it sounds reasonable enough.

The only warning given was around where the puncture was in the tread.
